늘 빛에 대해 생각한다
우주에서 오는 빛에는 광물의 강인함과 따스함의 정서가 공존한다.
빛에 대한 탐색은 보색을 이루는 색채들과 과감한 붓질을 통해 따스한 인물이 되고, 
무채색 공기속 화려한 반영이 되어 그림속에 담긴다.
나는 빛을 초록과 빨강, 노랑과 파랑, 보라 등 대비의 강렬함으로 그러나 자연스럽게, 
빛이 가진 생명력 그대로 그림에 담아내고 싶다.
해가 뜨거나 지는 순간 긴 파장의 붉은 따스함이 뒤에서부터 비춰 전면에 스미는 
빛이 사위는 순간을 좋아한다.
빛은 공기로 공간을 만들고 바람으로 움직인다.
풍선으로 움켜쥔 바람은 중의적인 뜻을 갖는다.
바람이 된 나의 그림들이 어느 누군가의 인생을 어루만지는 따스한 시선(빛)이 되기를 바란다.
